Demag DK Chain Hoist

Demag chain hoists have many standard features which meet a wide variety of lifting applications. These include load capacities to 11,000 lbs, high cycling fan-cooled motors and single, two-speed, or infinitely variable (DKVS) operation from 16 to 100 fpm.

Trolley options include manual, powered and standard or close headroom.

	DEMAG DK technology & features Load Capacity up to 5 Ton
	DRIVE TRAIN - A precision 6 pocket sprocket drive is employed in all DK chain hoists, virtually eliminating the vibration experienced in hoists with 5 pocket sprockets. Demag motors are designed for heavy duty, high cycling service. Motor windings have Class F insulation and are protected from overheating by thermal protectors imbedded in the windings. Motors are of the totally enclosed, fan cooled type.
	LOAD HALT - An innovation in chain hoists, the load halt device activates in the event of an overspeed condition. The load halt stops the rotation of the shaft driving the lifting chain sprocket.
	PULSE GENERATOR - The pulse generator components provide the feedback necessary for stepless speed control offered in our DHVS model. Quiet operation is achieved via digital inverter control at 16KHz.
	PRECISION LOAD CHAIN - Demag load chain is manufactured to the highest quality standards and tolerances. The hardened surface and close tolerances result in smooth and quiet operation. The load chain is additionally designed with a 10:1 safety factor.
	CONTROL PENDANTS - Ergonomically designed pushbutton pendants permit operators to work in a comfortable position thus reducing fatigue. DSK pistol grip pendant conforms to IP55 enclosure type, IP65 available. The DST style pendants are standard IP65.

	DEMAG DK chain hoists Trolley designs
	EUDK - A low-priced solution for monorails and single girder cranes. The motorized trolleys or push trolleys have load bars to suit all flange widths on conventional rolled beam girders.
	EKDK - Two EKDK close headroom monorail hoists working in a tandam lift operation. An upper sprocket within the trolley assembly enables the high hook position. Standard slip clutch or optional upper limit assures continued and safe operation.
	CLICK FIT TROLLEY - Putting this low headroom hoist / trolley into operation is a "snap". Simply pull the spring loaded pin in the pivot mechanism, swing the unit into position then "snap", your ready to roll, smoothly and safely. Large synthetic trolley wheels and beam web guide rollers enable the hoist / trolley to track easily.
